Conference Theme: Engineering the Future of Life Sciences

The Department of Bioinformatics & Biosciences (BI&BS) at Capital University of Science & Technology (CUST), Islamabad, is hosting the 14th Edition of the International Conference on Biological and Computational Sciences (C-BICS) in 2026. Established in 2013, the BI&BS has consistently organized this event to bring together leading experts in biological research. C-BICS 2026 aims to join hands for engineering the future of life sciences to address the global challenges. By providing a platform for knowledge sharing and collaboration, the conference seeks to advance our understanding of living organisms, develop novel treatments and diagnostics, improve food production and environmental sustainability, and ultimately enhance quality of life. A particular focus this year will be to highlight the innovative methods to engineer the future of life sciences with global challenges and real-world applications.

  • Attach the proof of studentship if an applicant is registering as a student e.g. copy of student card.
  • Attach the receipt of payment of registration fee along with the form.
  • In case multiple abstracts are being registered by a single author, the first abstract will be charged full fee while 50% registration fee will be waived for remaining all others abstracts.

    ABOUT US

    The objective of the Department of Bioinformatics and Biosciences (BI&BS), Faculty of Health Sciences and Life Sciences (FoHLS) at Capital University of Science & Technology (CUST) is to offer education and instruction across various levels, aiming to add to the global reservoir of proficient professionals in broad range of multidisciplinary domains of bioinformatics and biosciences. These experts are essential to fulfill the requirements of both the industry and the academic sphere. The undergraduate program (BS Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Medical Lab Technology) is primarily centered on equipping students for roles such as research scientists in academia and industry. In contrast, the graduate (MS) and doctorate (PhD) programs in Biosciences are designed to ready individuals for careers in relevant fields.
